Our daughter, Ishaana Sivakumar has entered the INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS, 2021!

I still remember the day, I held my little angel in my arms for the very first time. She resembled more like her dad than me and almost everyone in the hospital felt the same. In a few days, she proved I was wrong and she started looking more like me. She has my eyes, nose, cheeks, and even my chin. Oh yes! I almost forgot those beautifully curled up black hair that complements her perfectly round face!

My heart always jumps in joy when someone tells that she looks just like me. She started amazing me when she spoke her first word, “AMMA” (Mom in our language) when she was only six months. She showed interest in learning alphabets, shapes and numbers when she was just a year old. I decided to introduce her to various topics and allowed her to choose what she wanted to learn.

She grasped things faster than I expected and every time I told her something new, she was full of excitement. This helped me to teach her various things and she learnt them quickly. The appreciation she got from our friends, our local library staffs, gave us a validation that she is way ahead of her peers and I had a brief talk with few educationalists about how to proceed and move in the right direction so that her talent doesn’t fade away.

By the age of two, she had learnt many things and I decided to record all those and send them to INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS, which is a great platform to showcase, your child’s talents. They were super supportive and in a few days, we were told that she has entered the INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS, 2021. She made this feat when was only 2 years and 3 months. (in January, 2020).

I am posting this now after a lot of thought because of various reasons. I finally decided to share this amazing news with my blogging community and may be I will share how I taught my daughter all those things in the future.
